    Hi,
Me n my friends have an upcoming school trip, and we wanted to play some LAN based games. Is there any way to setup 4 laptops in LAN (wireless), so that we can do our stuff???

I have a Sager NP8660(a,b,g,n), and they have laptops which can probably pickup a,b,g.

    Regards,

I researched a bit, and found taht we mightbe ablt to ad hoc...
is this the most recommendeed method, and if it is, i think i might have a sligth problem.

the comp which has the network adapter, is running vista, and 2 of the remaining 3 have xp running... weill it still work??

Another option might be to use Hamachi, however that only works if you all have internet access (network cards?). Just my 2 cents.

Do the Ad-hoc thing. Windows XP vs Windows Vista should have no problems/compatibility issues. But, it would definitely be better if just one of you found the space to bring a router.

Using Hamachi is making things a little too complicated..

If you only have one ethernet jack anyways.. a router would be the way to go
