    Hello,

I would like to know of a program or method to monitor network traffic on my network. If there are multiple computers with ip addresses using my router for internet access, I want to know what files are being downloaded/uploaded by those ip addresses/computers. Specifically, I would like to know which torrents are being uploaded/downloaded by those computers. Furthermore, I would like to know what websites are being viewed but that isnt that important.

I have cable internet set up as normal. Cable to modem, modem to router, router to desktop (ethernet cable), router to laptop and other desktops (wireless).

I have a buffalo 54G router. I also have a password set on the router with WPA/WPA2 and AES/TKI password.

    Thankyou very much!

I'm not too sure about discussing this one, since you are basically asking how to snoop on IP traffic.

If you move away from home class routers to bussiness class you have option to block, and log things. If you can load dd-wrt firmware provide yours will take the full std version, you have options to load specific packages, like advanced loging.

In you case I would see if your router supports syslog. If your router can send IP info to a syslog server. Do this for a period of time you think this is going on. The file will get big fast. Then you can see where the traffic is coming from and to. It will take some work to weed through all of the ip's, mainly due to all of the redirects used in advertising.
