I have some "black" spots in my house, and I want to improve my router's wireless range. Here are some pictures, if anyone knows what should I do.

I guess bigger antenna is for GSM reception, and the two separate small ones are for Wi-Fi. I'm not moving it at all, so a little more extreme (external antenna mod) options are welcome as well.

There is a standards antenna connector in the upper left corner of the first photo- it looks like the ones used on notebooks.
The easiest way would be to buy an antenna meant for notebook and get it outside through a small hole.
More elegant solution would be to buy a Pigtail u.fl <> RP-SMA cable- then you'd be able to use any aftermarket antenna you'd want provided it's RP-SMA.

Thanks, but looking at it, it's closer to where the GSM antenna is placed, so I guess it's for external one, but not Wi-Fi. Any other suggestions?

You may be right or not but it doesn't matter. I did some more digging and it turns out it's not a ufl connector. It looks almost like it but it's in fact Hirose MS-156 test point and as such can't be used as an antenna connector- even if it was in fact a Wi-Fi antenna.

Can you buy a normal router and turn it into repeater?

That's an idea. I guess I'll go this way in the end. Thanks.
