Well, you need an internet connection and a wireless router to start. After you set up the router wireless devices will be able to conenct to it, sharing the internet and other designated resources.

What kind of wireless network were you thinking of. Do you just need simple internet connection sharing, or do you want to be able to share files between computers. How many computers are you looking to connect in this network? Network can be completely wireless or combination of wired/wireless access points. Do you want to be able to print from any computer? If so choice of router may include one which has built in print server, otherwise the computer connected to printer must be on. With print server the printer is connected to the router and accessible from any computer indepently.
