    Hi,
    I have HP laptop, DLINK DIR-655 Router and cable modem with time warner internet connection. i want to connect to internet wireless. How can i connect the three devices?

    i do not no much about networking or wireless networking. i have done as told in mannual ( quick set up) but no internet. i connected cable modem to wireless router and then tried to connect to wireless router with my laptop in other room but no internet?

    please guide me

    Re-read the manual, and follow the links the others have posted. Your basic problem is that you need to set up the router from it's administrative page, which you can only get to the first time by connecting the computer to the router using an ethernet cable.

    Most cable companies use some form of MAC filter to control access. Try cloning the MAC address of the pc used to setup the account into the router. This is normally found in advanced internet/WAN port settings.
