    How to Reset Router's password?

    seems like someone entered a password for my home's network.

    could be my bro most likely..

    how do i reset it?

    the router is in my room rite now.

    its a 2Wire 2700HGV2

    hold reset for 30sec, unplug while holding down the reset button, wait 30 sec, plug back in (while still holding down the reset button) for 30 more sec. Then release reset button. You might have to unplug and plug back in one more time. This is a hard-reset.

    A hard reset will do it, but you'll also lose all of the settings. I'm not familiar with that router, but most have some sort of recessed reset button that you hold down for about 10 seconds. Read the router manual for exact directions.

    Yep yep. You probably wont need to hold for 30sec count on all of those, its just to be safe, because some routers are different.
