I recently just moved, and have only been able to get Dial up my whole life since ive lived in the middle of nowhere. With my new house I am now able to have access to cable internet with a local provider. I want to be able to connect to the connection wirelessly with my laptop but want a stable reliable connection. Will this router suffice? I have this laptop in my room, and a desktop in the other room which does not have a wireless card. I have not signed up for the cable internet yet but plan on it, as I havn't yet I do not know what modem they will be providing me with.
I really dont have enough money to buy my own modem right off the bat but really need to connect these 2 computers. The connection from the cable company wont be very fast, just roughly 128kilobits a second but ive heard that the speeds sometimes go above that.

Edit: wow im really out of it today, sorry. here it is http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2703659&CatId=2667
