I have a laptop compatible with wireless n. When reading specs on routers they have speeds of 300 mbps and g only has 54mbps. This sounds like a GREAT increase in speed. But when i look at reviews there is no standout model. They all have 3.8/5.0 and it make me worryful to buy it. But also all the G routers have the same rating also no standout models. So i ask is the N wireless that better in speed and range. Please don't give me that theoretically yes it's better please someone with experience or knowledge of both give me a straight answer. Is the N network worth the $30-$60 more or should i just stay with the G network.

If it helps I'll use it for watching divx online movies and i also download alot of music off the internet. I will also do the occasional online game.

Thanks Alot in advance for your help.

Are you talking about the various 802.11n threads on this board? If so, I recommend revisiting the threads on the first 10 pages of this board, as there are many posts with actual 802.11n experience. I know, because I've posted my experience in a few of them.
