    How do you secure ure internet connection so know one else can use it?

    Sorry im a newbie and my internet connection has been unsecure for a longtime..pls tell us how u can do this? thanks!!

    Im sure my actiontec router doesnt support the use of wpa/wpa2 to let me put a password..i could be wrong tho.

    The actiontec does support it WPA(2), which is what you want. But use a min 20 chr random generated key using ALL Printable chr. I use the Max allowed (63).

    If your router has an option to use a hex key, I would. Reason being is you owuld have a 16-bit character combo vice an 8 bit ascii combo.
