I have a netgear 624 router which connects to my dell 6000 and a HP desktop.
I'd like to be able to now connect a G-3 mac and a new G-5 mac. Does anyone know what would be the best way to connect the Macs onto my wireless network?
Thanks for any suggestions.

You can plug a cable straight into the router. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Brian
Thanks for the comeback. I have my PC upstairs with a netgear WGT624 for my DEll 6000. My daughter does design work downstairs with her MACs she uses AOL dialup, trying to save her money I wanted to know what she needs to wirelessly hook up to my cnfiguration. Stores that she has inquired in are not to sure, netgear has no mac available setup. Even if she buys another whatever to hook up, it would still be a saving for her.
Thanks

she needs a wifi card in her macs

i'm not sure, but i think apple's wifi solution is "g" speed only, if your home router in "b" only, you'll need to upgrade (i had this problem with my friend's powerbook not connecting to my wifi router)

That link has a session in it, but yes, you just need a wireless card for the Macs. Even if they are g, they should work fine on a B network, but when you're mixing brands like this it's not always clean.

you may need to buy an Apple wireless access point specifically for the Mac. (they are called airports if im not mistaken). The reason is i believe that Mac/apple wireless runs off the 1.6 ghz band for wireless where as your tipical 802.11 a/b/g runs off 2.4 ghz band
How do I wifi a MAC?
