I have my wireless router set up, and 2 to 3 computers in this house at a time connected wirelessly. How do I set it up so I can share files between the computers?

Make sure all are in the same work group. File and printer sharing on. Select folder you want to share "Shared Folder". XP-Pro has a simple file sharing option.

On to firewalls the cause of most failures. For testing purposes you can disable all firewalls and see if it works. Then check to see if you need to add a firewall rule to allow all traffic on your subnet.

Just add the ip range to the trusted zone or network name.ZA>Firewall>Zones>Add

Go to Run type in cmd> ipconfig/all, record the ip's. It should start at 192.168.2.2 with your router being 192.x.x.1. Set the range 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.4 or you could just use 255 in the 4th oct to avoid doing this again when you need to add another computer.Look under overview and click firewall, then click add then ip range, type 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.255. Hope this helps. Oh sometimes XP Professional & XP Home have problems sharing.
