I have an HP DV7 3165dx Pavillion laptop which does not have Blue Tooth installed, I have seen several other HP DV7 models that do, can I add Blue Tooth capabilities to mine? Thank you

Hopefully the software is on it. If you do not want to operate on it there is also usb hardware. They do have the micro style also.

The software is easily downloaded :) It's a broadcom chipset that HP uses, so you can get the Broadcom software HERE.
