Like topic, is 15TB a lot for network traffic?
About how much are we getting in NBR?
And how much does Google, Facebook, engadget gets?

Reason of asking: Getting a web hosting, thinking of exactly how much is 15TB in terms of network traffic.

its a pretty nice amount of traffic. i dont think it compares to google, but its probably enough to run a decent porn site. ;)

It really depends on the type of site. If there is a lot of content (pictures/videos) obviously it will use a lot more than a pure text site.

My site, for the last 30k page views was 15gb worth. Dunno if this helps for a reference point.

I think 15 TB is quite alot. That's 15,360 GB.

Nizzy was getting 15 GB of traffic with 30,000 views. (Ie; You'll have to do his bandwidth 1024 times to get 15 TB).

You won't be google (Who I assume can pass 15 TB in a day), and I'm sure Facebook will hit past that, but Engadget probably stays under that limit.

Keep in mind that Google hosts their own servers in several locations around the world with OC-48 or better connections...

Unless you create one hell of a site, I wouldn't worry about going past 15TB, and I'd upgrade when it's time.
