Hi, I'm sorry if my question is too basic

I just got an HP Pavilion dv6308nr notebook with Vista Home Premium and I also have an HP Pavilion a1430n PC with Windows XP. I also have a router and the wireless Internet in the notebook works perfectly.

Can I set up a wireless network for my home? To share files and the printer...

    Thanks :)

Yes, Just turn on File and Printer sharing. Make sure both PC's are in the same Network Group. Run the File and Printer wizard to help you set it up. By default XP has a Shared Folder.
