I was told a while ago that these type of antennas would not work by extending N wireless rage (Just G and B). Then I was thinking aren't those antennas made just the same with some copper in them and so forth? Why would these antennas not work the same with N? BTW I have a Dir-625 Router.

    I believe b and g run on 2,5GHz while N runs on 5GHz

    Different frequencies need different antennas.

The thing is my router says no where that it broadcast 5GHz. Only ones I've seen it were the new Dual Band Routers.

802.11n can operate on 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands. Standard 2.4GHz antennas marketed as "802.11g" should work fine with N operating on the 2.4GHz band, but will work poorly with N on the 5GHz band.

Thanks, that's good to know. Now I can put some antennas on it.
