    Guys,I got my new Lynksys Wireless and would like to set up home network so I can use my HDX as "desktop"(connect external staff to it like HDD,printer,scanner),share them over the network and I would like to use remote desktop feature.can you please tell me how should I do that or give a link to a guide?Thanks!

    The best guide is probably the manual that comes with the router.
    For basic features, just plug the power and lan cable to the power. For more advanced features, refer to your router's pictured guided manual.

    I already set the network,but I cant make them to share devices or enable remote desktop!

    What are you trying to share your and which computers are you sharing the file with?

    I am trying to share my 2 external HDD and printer.It worked for a moment,but after then-nothing!

    What have I done

    Wi-Fi is working
    Inet is working
    Remote Desktop is working

    but file sharing no!3 notebooks-"host" has win 7,others XP.all on same workgroup

    If you are using Vista or later, you need to put the files that you want to share in the public folder.

    Try these steps:

    All computers on the same workgroup
    All computers have identical users/passwords
    All computers have simple file sharing disabled
    All computers have firewalls disabled and/or appropriate permissions to enable file sharing
    The Windows 7 computer is set in a private network (not public) and allows file/printer sharing
    All computers can see each other in the network neighborhood
    On the host computer, share the printer

    Can all other computers see the shared printer and access it?
