I got a westell 7500 modem/router and I'm not being able to use azureus with it. I chose "medium" security level in the router, but azureus is not connecting, saying there is a firewall problem.
I forwarded the relevant port (66666) on the router, but still the problem persists, and www.canyouseeme.org says port is blocked.

Anyone know how to configure it ?

Assuming that yu are using it for Legal Torrents... Right?

I belive NAT must be turned off for P2P to work properly, as far as i know. Try that.

Thats like implying every black man is a criminal unless proven otherwise..

Thanks; my router is not listed there, but something similar was, and I followed its instructions, but still no go.

In that case the only other thing I can think of is for u to allow the port on any software Firewall u may have installed; and any other Router (if there is any) connected to the said Modem.

Yes you are right it seems. Yesterday I tried to connect my old modem +router, and it was not going to te internet, I thought it was some incompatibility between old modem and new internet service (old service was ATT, new one is verizon).
I really tried, tinked arond, but no use.

Today it just connected  I hate this non-deterministic crap.

With the old setup, azureus is working as old times, but the port 66666 is still not visible, so it seems to be a software firewall.

But still the problem remains on why azureus is not working at all with the new router. It could not even check for updates.
Internet was working fine under the new router.

    I'm so confused
