Hi, I've got itunes downloaded onto my Sony Vaio laptop. However, every time I try to log on, I get a message "itunes could not connect to itunes store - the network connection timed out" and "Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active".

I don't understand what the problem is - I've gotten the same message several times now. This happens both on my dial-up connection from home, as well as on the wireless connection at college.

I really don't know how to check the network settings, and what setting they should be on. If someone could help me with this, I'd appreciate it a lot. Step-by-step instructions would be great. Thanks, Greg

Perhaps some firewall software blocked iTunes. You should check the settings of your firewall.
