So... for a while now i have been looking into a TV tuner for my laptop (in description) but i have some questions...

Tv tuners, do they broadcast only local channels? or do i get something similar to cable or satellite tv?

I was doing some research and have basically fell in love with the EyeTv for the Mac... is there anything like this application for windows systems that anyone can recommend ?

Is there a difference between Tv tuner "A" and Tv tuner "B" or are they basically all the same? on the same thought is there a Tv tuner that anyone would recommend?

    So basically...

    - Do i get local channels only or Satellite / Cable expanded channel selection?

    - what is a good program to use the Tv tuner?? Anything like EyeTv for the Mac ?

    - Best Tv tuner... (Is there a best or are they all the same?)

    Thanks everyone...

hope this is in the correct Sub-Forum...
