    Help setting up File/ Folder sharing Network!

    Hi,

    Please assist me in setting up File/ Folder sharing network between my PC's.

    1) Work Place Network
    Between Desktop [XP Pro] & Laptop [Vista] - Sharing internet through Beetel 450BXi ADSL2.

    2) Home Network
    Between Laptops [Vista] - Sharing internet through Linksys WRT54G.

    They just have to be on the same workgroup and then just right click on the file/folder/drive you want to share and share it. It will then be available on all other machines on that workgroup. If you want only specific people to see it then you can set up permissions in that same area of sharing.

    Will trying setting them up in the same workgroup.

    But how do I do for the Home Network; Keep them also in the same network or create two different workgroup's Office & Home?

    Done the intial setup. Named my desktop as 'OfficeDesktop' & my latop as 'SonyVaio'.

    Now I am able to view my laptop in my desktop network & vice-e-versa.

    The issues am facing is:
    1) In OfficeDesktop (XP Pro);
    I am able to access only the PUBLIC folder but others are coming 'Access Denied'.

    2) In SonyVaio (Vista Home Premium);
    I can view OfficeDesktop, but is not accessible.
    Message: "Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."

    Pls assist.
