I am running a laptop on SKY21150 with a speed of 54Mbps. Can anyone tell me what the Bandwidth will be as I need the info to optimize my internet performance using Advanced system care 3. I am a novice so simple answers would be appreciated.

The maximum bandwidth is going to be 54 Mbps, but it's going to be obviously limited by your internet connection (anywhere from 56 Kbps to 10-20 Mbps). Not exactly sure what you're asking.

The programme asked for the Bandwidth. From your answer I take it that this is 54Mbps ie the speed.

What is the bandwidth of your internet connection, alex30?

Type that in (if anything) as, like Lithus wrote, it's probably the limiting factor in your internet experience rather than the bandwidth of your router.

    you could run this http://www.speedtest.net/

this will let us know your connection speed, and if your the only person using that connection your bandwidth :D

speedtest is not the best but it will do.

    pretty much.

In what units is the program asking for your bandwidth/speed in? (note capital letters - Kb/s ≠ KB/s -> Kilobits ≠ Kilobytes)

lol... for $20USD/month i get 30Mbit/s internet in Canada.

Wireless G sucks and limits my throughtput to 22Mbit/s. In my case, Wireless G wifi limits my internet connection.

I've only got 30Mbit/s download in 2009. The ISP upgraded my internet from 5Mbit/s in 2008. I've had 5Mbit line since 2000. Before that, I was on dial up  .
