    OK, yesterday we bought a new Belkin router and were connected to a laptop, the home PC and Xbox Live. Today, I turned on our other laptop, that had never been connected to the new router, and when I searched for networks, a screen cam up and asked me if I wanted to change the name. So I did, and entered a key number and now, I cannot connect with anything, or to LIVE.

    The home PC and live are asking for a code or something. How can I get everything back to normal?

    What name did you change it to?

    Do you remember what the screen looks like?

    What is the model of your router?

    The code being asked is either the name of the network or the passkey, depending on how your network is setup.

    Another possability being a Belkin it may already have failed...

    Start by turning every thing off and stage every thing on, make sure devices are up beofre starting the next.

    Modem->Router->the your PC's

    Also, try connecting via an ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports on the router, that way at least you'll know that the physical connection is being made.
