Ok, Within the past week my signal strengh from my Linksys WRT54gx has diminshed to the point where I can no longer connect to the internet from places I have been able to for the past 2 years (about 75 feet). There have been no changes of any kind within my house or network setup. When I turn on the laptop the signal is strong and I can get onto the internet, but within a few minutes it drops off. The signal near the router is excellent. I have called Linksys and updated the version but still no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First check your energy setting to make sure the it is not lowering the power to save battery.
Or it sounds like the radio is failing in the AP (router) or NB. Use another NB to test.

Thanks it's the same on 3 NB's. Must be the router.

It possiable that a neighbor has installed a new MIMO router that uses channel bonding, killing yours. If you are running XP run Netstumbler for 10 min or so and see if a new routers from a neighbor is knocking you out. A lot of the early 11n hardware was killing 11g. The spec now requires it to play well with others. And it's possiable that your radio is failing.
