I'm looking to buy a Dell Latitude C600. I have a computer now and would like to know if a wireless router work? I have DSL. The C600 is running windows 2000.

It appears the C600 includes a 802.11b wireless card. A wireless router will work. You can just hook it up to your DSL modem and behold the wonder that is wireless internet :p As for your pc, you can cable-connect it to your router, or buy a WI-FI adapter.

BIG help!! Thank you so much!
These forums, expecially for my generation, (over 65) are terrific. We've literally saved thousands using the JagForum and many others.

Just noticed something about the C600. The notebook comes with an internal antenna, but needs a mini-pci card in order to connect. If you're getting the notebook from someone, ask him/her if it already has the card installed. If not, you can either install one yourself, or get an USB wireless adapter. The card might be slightly more expensive and harder to install than the USB stick, but it'll be worth it on the long run (stuff sticking out of your notebook is a nightmare). Sorry for the mistake in my previous post. Hope you're still around to read this :p
