My region has a sale now on selected routers and I'm not sure which one to buy.
I use it for gaming. My NIC is Intel Centrino Wireless N 2230.
Please suggest a good one under 2000 Rs.

    Router Sales!

    Awaiting Replies! Thanks!

There's nothing good for under 4000 on this list.
If you have to stick to 2K buy a TP-Link - these tend to be well priced for the quality.

Is there anything on the list which is portable and will manage upto 4-8 players using LAN?

Routers that are required to handle online gaming for up to 8 players - that's actually pretty demanding - even more so a cheap router is very unlikely to do a good job.

If it was just an ordinary router for browsing I could possibly come up with something but for gaming - not really.

Fair enough! So, the best one for browsing with moderate gaming would be?

TP-LINK TL-WR841N would be a reasonably good choice and within your budget if I'm not mistaken.
