Hello, I know very little about laptops because I have always used a desktop pc. I purchased an Acer Aspire 53302339. It says the laptop has a Built-in wireless LAN antenna (802.11b/g/Draft-N), a v.92 56K fax modem, and
10/100 Base-TX ethernet. I use dsl with my desktop and I want to set up a wireless connection. What else do I need to purchse with the above haedware? Will a router be enough or do I need an adapter or wireless card? Also, is a Belkin G Plus MIMO Wireless Router ok or should I buy a Linksys WRT54GS? Thanks! :)

All you need is a wireless router to connect to the dsl modem - personally, I would stay away from the Belkin (Linksys has some problems, too) and go with something else, like a Netgear or a Dlink.

man, I already bought the Belkin. What's wrong with that brand? Is it something I can get around or should I cancel my order?

I am not sure if there is anything wrong with it per say, but a lot of people regard it as a bad brand for the wifi routers. Don't know for myself, as I have never owned a Belkin router.
