Hey guys and gals, I just have a sort of problem that I cant seem to figure out on my own, so maybe someone else knows a thing or two about it.

The problem is with my wired connection. I am on osx right now and it works fine, but if I get on Win7 it wont work although it did work a few days ago. I cant figure it out.

I try to run diagnostics, but it seems like it just wants to do it for a wireless connection. I dont see any way to do a wired connection instead of wireless.

Thats what it seems like...a problem with it only wanting to connect to a wireless network and doesnt want to do the wired.

does the wired network interface card show in device manager? Try disabling the wireless temporarily and see if the wired work on reboot.

I think I have already tried this. But I will try it again.

I do not see a LAN connection preference anywhere. All I see is bluetooth and wireless...

Well, if there is no network interface device for the wired connection in device manager, then either you have a hardware malfunction or it is disabled in bios.

Enter bios and see if it is enabled.
