My computer: Sony Vaio SR490 laptop
    OS: Vista 64 (ugh!)
    Internet: Verizon DSL wireless

Alright, my last post was concerning the desktop computer hogging all the bandwidth. We fixed that by changing the router channel, and all was well for a day.

Now whenever I turn on my laptop, I have to reset the network adapter through Vista in order to actually connect. I don't have anymore problems with my connection being slow, but now I just have to do this extra step to get online. Anyone know what is going on?

I assume you have the wireless network set as automatically connect. Turn that setting off and then on again.
