    Hello,
    I am on a MSI GX620 with Windows 7 64 bit

Several times a day, I will be browsing the internet when all of a sudden I cannot load anymore pages. My wifi connection will continue to say that it has a strong connection. To regain access to the internet I have to disconnect and reconnect to my wifi network. This is a pain and gets in the way. Are there any solutions?

    Thank you,
    Ben Fink

Try to change channel .. maybe something interfering and kills the connection or weakens it too much.

You need to provide more details about your networking envrionment or your notebook behave like that everywhere? You should first try it in a cafe or other place providing wifi-access. Sounds like it's the network's problem.

    Other information:
-The router is in a room right down a short hallway from the room my laptop is normally in
-It is a Airport Extreme router
-This is a neighborhood and there are not too many other wireless routers in the area

Also, how do I go about changing channels?

    thank you,
    Ben Fink

Install inSSIDer to check which channels are occupied, log in to the router and change the wireless channel accordingly.
Also is you use Vista or Win 7 make sure that wireless card is set to no power-saving/max performance in Windows advanced power profile settings.
