I am in need of a 5Ghz capable gigabit router with a USB port. 5 Ghz for minimal interference, gigabit ethernet to not cripple speeds, a usable USB port for external backup. I can't seem to find any current routers that bill. Has anyone seen anything? It looks like I will just have to wait til this whole 802.11N draft is finalized to get what I need. When it does get finalized, will the 4965AGN be compatible? Thank you.

Apple's Airport Extreme has 2-3 USB ports on it. Supports printers also. But not cheap.

I'm afraid that Apple will leave me in the dust when 802.11N gets finalized. I can see Apple releasing a new product that supports it and leave the current Extreme as is, not providing any firmware or software upgrades.

The linksys looks like the winner, but the price! Whoa! Will final 802.11N be 5Ghz only? I hope so, less usage there. I can see the Linksys being more future-ready with it being able to do dual-band simultaneously. I'll just stick with my trusty WRT54GS until N gets finalized. -

The D-Link DGL-4500 does not have a USB port that works for anything outside Windows Connect Now. That goes for any D-Link currently. -

11n will be able to operate in both bandwidths 2.3 and 5ghz.
I don't see Apple not being able to upgrade their firmware as with any v2 firmware shipped router. Routers shipped prior to v2 may not meet the final spec.
The USB is not a common port on routers. Most discovered early on that getting printers to work was a very hit and miss. So most all have dropped it off. Apple has it on their hardware mainly because their able to get it to work as a network printer and usb ext drives.
Have Intel 4965AGN, Now Wait?
