Does anybody know why a wireless driver would uninstall after a reboot, hibernate, or shutdown? I have a HP dv9010us, and every time I shut down my computer, my wireless driver uninstalls and I have to reinstall it. It is not even recognized under the device manager or when I run the "Add Hardware" app. from the control panel. I have to manually install the driver, then run the "Windows Experience Index" to get it working again, just to have it uninstalled when I shut my laptop down. I tried completely reformatting my computer, reinstalling windows, and starting fresh, but same problem. I don't think it is a hardware issue because I can install the wireless device and use it just fine until I restart my computer. So if anybody has any ideas, let me know. Thanks

I had a similar problem, still do but I believe it's a hardware problem. something loose.I have to tap on the case before I start the laptop to get the wireless working. I updated the bios with the new flash version then it worked for 4 days but it's doing the same again.
anyway, you might check if hp has an new bios flash update for yours.
maybe that solves the problem.
go to hp:

Go to Networking then type in your Product number. goto the next steps.
updating the bios is simple, once you got the correct file just install it then restart.
