I have a ZE2000. I had issues with the power jack so I took it apart and replaced that jack yesterday. I got everything back together ok and now I have power. But in the process I have lost wireless capabilities. When I boot up it says that the wireless assistant can not find a wireless divice. I checked to make sure I got my broadcom card back in correctly and it appears as if it is. OK... I know that there are people out there saying that i shouldn't try this sort of thing on my own but hp wanted $400 to do what I fixed with $5.95. Now if someone can tell me how to fix my wireless problem I will be in business! I'm just a single mom who can't afford to get a new computer or spend much money to fix this one. Thank You!

You could take it apart again to make it is in there correctly. The service manual, located on HP's site. will explain the procedure to ensure you are doing it correctly. If you can't get it working, you can get a PCMCIA Wifi card on the Internet pretty cheap.
