    HELP I cant connect to internet(New W3v)

    HELP I cant get my NEW TO CONNECT to the internet wireless.

    I just recivced my Asus w3v, today and have trying to get it to connect to the internet wireless.

    It will not find an IP address, then when I give it one, it says connected but it will not recivce anything it just sends out.

    I have sdc dsl if that matters, with the 2wire homeportal

    Unless you have a static IP, assigning one manually isn't going to work. The auto settings should work jsut fine. Are you able to connect to the router? It sounds like you're leasing it with your cable service, which generally means WEP security is turned on.

    All it tell me is that there is limited connection and it is not assisgning an IP address, when I click auto IP.

    IT will sent out but it will not recivce.

    When I hit repair is says

    "Windows could not finishing repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed:

    Renewing your IP address "
