    HELP! Slingbox with Verizon Wireless Card???

    Bottom line... Can I use a slingbox with a wireless card without home internet service? Please help!


    I DO NOT have home internet through my cable or phone company. I only use my Verizon Card with my laptop to access the internet.

    Before I purchased my Slingbox Solo, I called Sling Media and they told me that I did not HAVE to have home internet. I could connect the slingbox to a router and configure the Verizon card to the router, and the slingbox could connect that way.

    I've since purchased the Solo and I called back to verify the connection instructions and was told that I do, in fact, need home internet.
    I've also done a search online and saw that some people do have this connection, but no instructions are listed.

    Is my desired setup possible? Can I use a slingbox with a wireless card without home internet service? Please help!
