My wireless card quit working on me the other day. The weird thing is that the computer says everything is working properly and the wireless card can find networks but it is unable to connect. The wireless router is working because my wifes computer can connect and get on the internet. I have also updated the drivers. Can anyone help? Thanks.

BTW my WiFi card is a Intel 4965AGN

Did you install any software recently, like a firewall or internet security suite? Also, what OS are you using?

    1) Does your router use WEP or WPA encryption?
    2) Did you install the correct key for your router on your computer?

I recntly installed Commodo firewall and Counterspy anti-spyware. I turned them off and I still could not connect.

I'm running vista premium, I'm using a linksys g router from 2005. I have another computer that is having zero problems connecting.

If it's the software I installed could it have changed something? If so what and how do change it back
