Hey guys i have a current setup of wrt54g linksys router which connects to my charter Cable modem now the old cable modem work just find and my network was up and running smoothly but now since lol ( my family decided to pay 5 dollars a month added up to , to much just buy a modem) The new modem Blocks the routers access to the internet and even seeing other computer on the network. The only thing that does currently work is the USB connection from the modem to the Computer (which does the network no good) and even when i try to enable both the ethernet router connection and usb cable modem connection at same time the internet will go to disable mode in internet connections!!! (try bridge connection didnt work)

Now i need some serious help and to top it off i lost the Routers install CD and wondering if someone could point to be where i can download it online.

I need to get my network back up in running !!! currently have one computer connect wireless by USB adpater and one laptop by PC cardagain ( all worked before new cable modem)

And help thoughts or things i could try could be great thanks for the help and the fast responds

your new modem will only connect via USB? Not Ethernet? You cannot connect using both. And usb will not work in a networking enviorment your trying to use.
