Stinking cable bill kept going up so I am switching to Telus and saving over a grand in the first 6 months on fees and then about $40.00 per month after. I will get less TV but a whole lot more internet. 500MB Youtube upload in less than 1 minute with fiber. 1TB data limit per month. Will keep you posted.

I suspect I will be able to see the future with such great internet powers, but I am responsible and will not alter the future by disclosing it in advance.

The difference between 50 and 150Mbs was $5.00 plus you go from 300GB to 1TB of data per month for the extra $5 bucks.

Well its here and shes damn fast. Pages dont load any faster, but downloads are insanely fast. I downloaded an app for my tablet and it took less than 1 second where normally it takes a lot longer than this did. I will have to upload a video to Youtube and see how that goes. This much internet speed is not necessary but its going to be a real treat to have.

Nice, it's about time they offer decent upload speed. Took them long enough to get there...

I was on fiber in the late 90s with 10Mbps synchronous here downtown. We had a small isp (pacific place communications) that offered this for $40 monthly. They are long gone and Novus took over with sync speeds up to 100Mbps on their business packages. They used to offer sync speed on their home packages but have moved to a async in recent years.

I'm on their 50mb business package and it rocks, and no blocked ports so you can host anything you want.

I uploaded a 2.5GB video to Youtube this morning in 4 minutes. THen it took 15 minutes for them to convert it for there servers.

It took longer to move the video from my USB 3 HDD to my laptops HDD than it did to upload the file to Youtube.
