    Getting wifi signals better

    Is there any way that i can get wifi signals better??? Like an anteena that i can connect to my laptop so as to get the signal better.

    You can get extended range antennas for the router, but the best way is to get a better router.

    You know what...I posted something about this a long time ago. Let me see if I can find it.

    EDIT: Found it...it should work for you as long as you have an Intel WiFi card...and this might actually work for other cards as well:

    ^^@greg which OS do you have. i have the same card and vista. when i went to the menu you specified i couldnt find the power management option. however there was transmit power option which was set to highest by default.

    You can add a high gain antenna to the router to improve it's performance to most routers (11g). As for the notebook, you only option is use an external card.

    May consider moving your router to a more centralized location.
