Alright, so I need your help in setting up my notebook running Vista x64 to communicate with the printer on my desktop running XP x86. Both of the computers are in the same workgroup and can transfer files seamlessly between each other, the problem occurs when I try to add a network printer to my notebook. When the Add Printer utility detects the printer and tries to install it I get an error saying that the drivers for the device are missing and points me to finding them manually. Previously on my XP systems in the house they would automatically find the drivers and install them. I'm guessing that there is some sort of conflict due to either Vista or because I'm trying to get a x64 and x86 OS to talk.

My printer is an HP7960, I've downloaded the 64-bit Vista drivers from HP's website and installed them on my notebook and it still will not work. Anyone have any ideas?
