I recently purchased and set up a netgear DG834G router in my home. It was working pretty well, though I did get coverage lapses every now and again. Yesterday it packed in, I've connected up another router (same make and model) and it still won't go online.

I keep getting the following message:

""Windows failed to find the well known host "www.microsift.com" using DNS. The server may be down.""

My systemis showing as being connected, I use Vista and in my network screen it shows the PC connecting into the network, the arrow that should lead to the internet has a red cross on it blocking the path to the intrnet site.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I've spent 6 hours over the past two nights playing about with it to no avail.
