My new Fujitsu S6510 does not recognise my wireless network. It does pick up my neighbours' network. The S6510 runs on Vista with Intel 4965AGN wireless network card. My router is Netgear WGT624(v2) with the latest firmware 4.2.11. My other Tosh laptops have no problem in connecting. The network runs XP Service pack 2. Any suggestion?

Do you have your SSID Hidden on the router?

No. My other Tosh laptops can see the name of the network or SSID.

If the other laptops already have the SSID and the key for accessing the wireless network, they can "see" the network on that basis, so that fact doesn't tell you whether or not your wireless router is broadcasting its SSID. You'll need to login to the router's admin page and verify whether or not SSID broadcast has been enabled.

I thought it is the Vista causing the problem. But I still got the same problem after downgraded to XP. As I mentioned before my laptop pickups my neighbour's network, I obtained the password from my neighbour and got connected. It just does not work with my own network. I've check my router setting and tried different setting like enable or disable the SSID boardcasting. Even I disabled any encryption on my router. I put another laptop together and follow the exact setting. It just won't connect. At least I've excluded it is not the wireless adapter problem. Now everything runs on XP. Should I get another router??

try changing the channel that the router broadcasts on. You maybe getting interference.
