I have an inspiron 1520 and i upgraded my dell 1390 to the intel 4965 but i have no idea which wires go where. the dell card used the black and white cables, but the intel is coded by numbers and has three while the dell only has two. can someone possibly take a picture of their setup? Thanks

The Intel 4965 mini card uses MIMO so that's what the 3 wire antenna is for. Assuming you now have a Draft N router and the Intel 4985 in your laptop, you can configure both the laptop and the router to use both 20 and 40 MHz bands. The config settings can found in the Advanced Options of the driver. Draft N will work better if you use security WPA2 with AES encryption.

Only in the 5GHz you can have that option of 20/40MHz.
