Who here received one of these, or paid for one of the newer small white wireless access points? Would anyone be interested in a little guide on how to make the router a plain access point to your network, with DHCP handled by your main home router?

Generally you turn off dhcp (NAT) in the router. Then connect from one of the lan ports to your existing router lan port. Just like a switch.

The Fonera router is a bit more complicated. They are a locked down proprietarty router, with a single wan port. It gives some web options, but to disable internal nat, you need to disable various things through SSH, as well as bridge the internal wireless to the lan through the firewall.
