If you have a Dlink Gamerslounge router DGL-4100, DGL-4300 or DGL-4500 and recently started having problems with the router locking up, freezing or not working right - turn off "check for firmware update" in the admin menu and restart the router.

see this link: Disable Firmware Auto Update on Phased Out products

It seems Dlink shut down the service for their old routers and when your router "phones home" to check for updates it causes the router to lock up or not work properly.

On mine, even the admin menus would not load properly.
