I need help setting up a home network, allowing file sharing between two laptops. I've been transferring files via USB back and forth...
Is there a neat guide out there that will help me set this up? I'm trying to transfer files between Win XP & Win 7 notebooks.
Thanks, any help/ suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you thought of picking up a NAS box? There are some really user friendly ones out there. One that come to mind is a Dlink 321 - Newegg.com - D-Link DNS-321 Diskless System 2-Bay Network Storage Enclosure
You can setup file sharing between the XP and 7 machines, but it certainly will not be as easy as having a central location for storage. -
H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
Setup a shared folder on XP, and have the Windows 7 computer map to it.
