    I have a Gateway laptop with a 56KITU V.92 ready Fax/Modem (RJ-45 port) What do I need to do to be able to send and receive faxes?

    a phoneline and then setup microsoft faxing from windows.

    if your using win 7, hit the start button and put fax into the little search box. it will show fax and scan ... follow the directions given.
