    Fast downloads, slow browsing.. HELP!!

    Hi, Just switched my broadband servive provider to a quicker one. i'm getting over 2mbps of download speed when downloading big files which is excelent. Although browsing the internet has gone very slow, even when i'm not downloading anything and just browsing normally. its taking ages to load up the web page.

    DLS to cable? Is there are router in the mix? What Operating System

    maybe their DNS is very slow, try using a different DNS server to see if that is the issue

    Do you use some kind of wireless solution?

    And you could test your internet connection with http://www.speedtest.net/ and http://www.pingtest.net/.
    Maybe you could get some readings and post it here.
    I bet someone with some network knowledge could help you out. :)
