    Hey guys,


    I was trying to send some files to my Desktop PC via IP messenger on Home wireless network.

    its 54 mbps LAN speed. but i get shockingly low 500 kbps speed.

    when i tried IP messenger with another friend at his place ..i got 8 mbps from my comp.

    So its either a problem with Desktop PC or my Network.

    What can i do?

    I tried changing channel but didnt help much .. which are preferred channels?
