    Hi all.
    Here's my situation.
I run 2 small web sites and have 2 desktop computers here that I use to make it easier.
I want an external HD that can be hooked to both computers so that I can pull the files off it from either computer and also use it to back up the data.
Is there any special type I need to do this or do most allow you to hook into 2 computers?
When on my laptop, I can access my desktop files from my wireless router setup, so I think I should also be able to get files off the external drive as well with my laptop.
I'm sure this all is simple, but it sounds complicated at first to me.

You should be able to network that drive - I'll send this to the Wireless & Networking forum for you - you'll get better help there ;)

Yes, do you have the 2 computers on a network already, as in like you have a desktop and laptop networked. First, all the computers need to be networked. You can do this by going into the network connections and Let Windows XP automatically do the setup. Then whatever computer the extra hard drive is connected to, you should be able to access it on any computers on your network.
