    Extending Wireless Network

    Well i have a router right now and it doesnt reach to my room. The antelna for it I lost, i was wondering if there was anything i could put on there that could increase the range of it. Or if anyone knows how to make a lillte antena for it.

    Try changing the channel on the router. It might not seem like much, but for me, after I switched to another channel, my wireless connection stopped dropping.

    Other than that, you can always pick up a signal repeater from a retailer like BestBuy for around $60.

    wouldn't it just be cheaper and easier to go buy a new router for 40 bucks?

    There is a networking and wireless section...mods do your thing.

    Answer to original question: Get an antenna or a new router. You can get a 54Mbps g and backwards compatable router for 30 bucks or less after rebates.
